Some notes:

-1.5m of online donations were "small dollars"

-Fox News interview with Trey Gowdy was supposed to be 8 minutes, ended up being 38 minutes.

-DeSantis will take a "states' rights" stance on a national abortion ban, saying DeSantis fears taking it on at the federal level leaves an avenue for the federal government to undo red states' legislation in the future if under democrat control

-In 2022 "piss poor candidates" got crushed by democrats on the abortion issue. They don't think abortion will be a problem for DeSantis in a general election and references Kemp in GA, DeWine in OH, DeSantis' reelection.

-Iowa primary voters have a 54% "strongly unfavorable" view of Disney, numbers consistent across the country among primary voters

-Cites Bud Light and Target boycotts as sign that country is ready to fight a culture war and DeSantis is "right over the target"

-Donor asks about DeSantis being "too far right" - strategists answers that those are candidates like Asa Hutchinson and Nikki Haley who cannot win. "Gotta win a primary in order to be in a general"

-A donor speaks to crowd about talking to "pro-choice" voters and being able to use a Clinton line of "safe, legal, and rare" about abortions in FL. Strategist chimes in that they are not in a position to or are wanting to change DeSantis' principles and that his principles will "settle" in the country.

-Another donor chimes in about wanting a candidate who can stand up to Xi Jinping and Vladmir Putin and that that candidate MUST stand up to donor pressure and that they appreciate that DeSantis doesn't cave to donor pressure.

-"Very robust" national economic strategy will be unveiled by DeSantis team.

-Strategists believe DeSantis will win women voters and cite DeSantis winning in "single women" demographic.

-Trump indictments don't affect anything on gender lines only ideological
