Funny how the righties moan about how Congress is never at work - when it suits them - and then moan about how people in Congress don't spend enough time at home.

I'd rather Congress be at home most of the time.

Giving them time to be in session without something of real importance to do is what generates a lot of the bullshite from DC that we hate.

Good.. It should be dismissed but it hopefully brings forth the real questions surrounding where here true "home" is located.. Legally she is a resident and claiming the parents house falls in line with the law but it brings up a good area of difference between her and Cassidy... He has done an admirable job of spending large swaths of time in Louisiana and maintaining a home here all the while working as a congressmen..

I actually run into him and talk to him at the grocery store from time to time. He's very accessible and approachable.

I agree as well. Don't they know Democrats always get off the hook? Imagine if this were Cassidy...

The work they should be doing is being here at home finding out what they should do for their state, not being in DC finding out what they should be doing for their own gain.

You do realize that a senator's job includes working outside of DC don't you? Being in one's home state doesn't mean they aren't working.

The optics on this whole thing were bad from the get-go. It reeked of desperation, when there's really no need to be desperate.

+ 1. Beat her on the merits, not some fabricated non issue.
