Price and pro-life advocates like him easily disregard the health benefits contraception brings because they care more about women having sex than they do about women being healthy. From their vantage point, covering contraception gives women more freedom to enjoy recreational sex without suffering economically, professionally or medically from an unwanted pregnancy.

Did you read the article? You claim shitty title and try to spin it as what it is not when the title is right in line with the point of the article.

Explain how this passage is consistent with your precious innocent interpretation of the article

So in other words, you can have more fun and be more free if you dont have to deal with the consequences of your actions

Sounds about right

Wasn't banning certain size sodas a leftist deal just a few years ago? People complain about smokers and overweight people putting a burden on our healthcare system and costing tax payer money, but no one mentions the lifestyle behaviors that lead to one of biggest healthcare epidemics ever and how many billions it has costed us (HIV/AIDS). Expecting someone to wear a condom as they bareback countless strangers is bigotry to the highest degree, but them damn smokers and fatties can go straight to hell.

What? The article is about birth control methods such as the pill and IUDs. Not sexually transmitted diseases. Condoms can decrease the chances both of an unwanted pregnancy and STDs, but bringing STDs into this argument makes no sense.

And if you want to know the biggest culprit of perpetuating any STD epidemic it's right wing conservatives that have pushed abstinence and made it harder for people to access condoms. So your argument is baseless.

Well you may not know it but this man's a spy
He's an undercover agent for the FBI
And he's been sent down here to infiltrate the Ku Klux Klan

Would you believe this man has gone as far
As tearin' Wallace stickers off the bumpers of cars
And he voted for George McGoveren for president

Well he's a friend of them long-haired hippie type pinko figs
I betcha he's even got a Commie flag
Tacked up on the wall inside of his garage

He's a snake in the grass I tell ya guys
He may look dumb but that's jus a disguise
He's a mastermind in the ways of espionage

Are you telling me if we found the last 100 people to get an STD, the reason the majority of them have said STD would be they had abstinence pushed on them and desperately wanted a condom but had access issues to such product?

You guys are fricking hilarious

Whatever your political leanings, affordable (cheap, rather) and accessible birth control, the pill, is one of the best ways to help America moving forward. It isn't perfect, but it is better than providing taxes to help raise someone else's child.

There are too many people who are disinclined to work and reliant upon the government at this juncture, and with the incentives to birth more children and subsequently receive more benefits, we need to provide as much BC as possible, if you ask me.

I'd rather help pay for someone else's birth control than continue to pay for all of their other benefits as a result of having a child. BC>SNAP benefits, daycare vouchers, child's healthcare, etc. etc.
