There would be instant jobs for all the Euro league players.

this is kind of what I was driving at. But I would imagine TV revenue outweighs ticket sales (sans blackouts)

So could white people watch the games on tv or are those games blocked for white households?

Larry Johnson isn't exactly the person that deserves a thread on this matter.. This whole situation is fricked up and really harks back to the old days of ownership treating players as less than employees.. One has to expect people to say irrational things during something like this and the clippers players are in a very awkward position.. For them, thankfully they have a strong head coach who commands respect from around the league.

I kinda wish there was a black guy out there that hated my honkey arse ... but was willing to give me million dollar checks to play a game.

Pretty sure that I could deal with it.

I would love to see the lawsuits for discrimination after an all-black league was started.

Johnson has been saying this sort of thing for years. To make matters worse he is an executive with the Knicks.
quote:

During the 1999 NBA Finals between the Knicks and Spurs, Johnson caused a stir by saying: “We’ve got a lot of rebellious slaves on this [Knicks] team.”

quote:

When asked at the time why he referred to his teammates as slaves, Johnson said: “I’ve got to explain that to you? We don’t go with the mainstream.’’

Johnson was hired by the Knicks two years ago and serves many roles as a basketball and business operations representative. It’s unclear what his role will be under new team president Phil Jackson.

No kidding.

Actually, he wouldn't really need to hate you...he just wouldn't want his paid mistress to be seen with you in public. In private, you could bang her all day long.

These players haven't been harmed.

As a former slave herself Sheila Jackson Lee commiserates with the knickerbockers.

Even if she doesn't know what a knickerbocker is.

She would be a great commissioner. Of course, with her at the helm the league would probably be defunct in a very short time.

Why don't the Clips just get all honkeys.

A good start:

- that dude Gortat from the Wizards ... he's looks about like American History X-ish.

- Chris Birdman Anderson -- with the facial hair ... could pass for a tatted-up neo-nazi.

- Steve Blake ... easy move from the Lakers

- get Larry Bird to be the coach.
