Let's ask Theo what he thinks:

Me neither but that was long predetermined. I haven't seen one NFL game this year.

I hate how sports are becoming more and more politicized. Why can't we as a nation leave some things pure that people of different beliefs can bond over instead of creating everything into an issue.

Hope so! Will have to see it on the "News" as not one TV in my house will be on the halftime show...nor much of the game itself. Don't know who all of the sponsors are, but prolly want support them much either.

So, why is the NFL so intent in running off the core of their fans? This shite won't change until the money stops rolling in.
It's the same way with ESPN. We should be able to watch sports and just enjoy the games without having liberal politics promoted.
When enough fans quit buying tickets and cut cable chor then we will get our message out that we just want to watch sports. No infusion of politics. Just sports.

Also,
I thought the NFL was the most "corporate public image conscious protectorate"?
I mean, this is a league that had Chubby Checker in 1988.
And performed these "modern hits" in 1989.
"Tutti Frutti"
"Great Balls of Fire"
"Greased Lightnin'"
"True Love"
Gloria Estefan...
Geriatric Rolling Stones was "controversial".
And of course, Jackson boob and the hysteria over that.
Super Bowl halftime show has been historically the most aged, conservative, banal music show in history.
I would be shocked if they let Lady Gaga make some political statement.

How is her 15 minutes not over yet? She's never had any talent other than trying way too hard to be weird.

It does not matter to me what she says. Don't follow her or listen to her music so she is insignificant. But the NFL is a losing support from fans who don't agree with the positions they have taken this past year.

No doubt. Only games I watched were the Saints which is the first time ever.

I wonder if she realizes what would happen to her in an Islamic society.

It just seems like bad business to me.
The decision to use Lady Gaga has nothing to do with business, it's all about ideology and promoting cultural pluralism. Nobody is wrong, when everybody is right. The only evil ones are those who oppose moral relativism.
All mass entertainment today (including NFL games, sporting events, even the daily Soaps) has been (or is in the process of being) politicized. It's called indoctrination of the masses.
The Caesars used mass indoctrination in sporting events such as the gladiator games in the Colosseum in Rome. The Colosseum was (and still is today) a marvelous engineering feat. What a show. Lady Gaga would have thrived. They loaded carts with loaves of bread which circled the field all the while throwing the loaves of bread to the hungry masses in the stands. Then the crowd sat enjoying their bread while the lions (or the gladiators) devoured or butchered the Christians. You get my point.
Good day!

Wow first time I realized that Gaga is against women right. A burka is a tool to repress women and how muslim men keep their women in line. To wear that is a sign of submission.
And feminism take a step back!

Sounds to me like she supports the inclusion of those who think like she does yet does not support any differing opinions. How inclusive of her.

You know there is a concerted effort by an unseen puppet master when they feel the need to inject leftist politics into the most "Bubba" if events, the Super Bowl.
There is no way this is a "marketing decision" made by someone looking for a ROI. This is some Illuminati level shite going on.
