I'm MAGA and I've thought Noem was a fricking idiot for a while now. Doesn't mean I have to simp for everything stupid thing a MAGA politician does.

So, does a dog occupy a higher place in the animal kingdom than cattle, pigs or birds?

Yes.

What about unborn children?

No, of course not.

One other thing, unless you’ve had an aggressive dog try and eat the face off one of your children, sit this one out.

Agreed. Part of the bad behavior was aggression towards its owner (Noem). I wouldn't tolerate that behavior either. A dog like that isn't safe to be around and unfortunately needs to be put down.

It’s the gayest feminine shite I have seen on this board. You post how awful it is to kill a puppy, and these mental midgets can’t stand losing an argument. so they change the subject and pull the abortion card out, assuming that if you’re upset about the dog being killed you automatically support abortion. When the hell did abortion come into the mix?

My dad paid big money for a bird dog when i was a kid.The mother was a TN state field champion. Lucy, unfortunately, was not smart. She went to obedience school for a couple months. They called at the end and said well, Lucy might need a few more weeks. So we finally went to the demo day where they showed off all the dogs. When they fired off the duck lure for her, Lucy swam out to get it, then swam to an island in the pond and gnawed the fake duck to shreds

We didn't kill her
eta - agree completely Zach. Lucy was a black lab and a great dog. Just not a hunting dog

Dog killing and bragging on it is odd to me She failed as a trainer no

I have only met two hunters who admitted they killed hard to train young dogs. They both were obviously sub 100 IQ guys so I didn't bother expressing my opinion to them.

If you want to hunt then get a dog breed that makes a good pet. IE, Labrador retrievers are the most popular dog breed in America for the last 30 years. If you get a lab and it fails to hunt it will make a wonderful house pet. None of them are 'a-hole' dogs.

All these weak arse excuses for men in this thread, crying about a chicken eating dog being killed

Republicans are seriously lacking in testosterone these days. The dog attacked other animals. It had to be put down. It sucks, but real men make tough decisions. Noem has more guts than most of the people in this thread. It's no wonder Republicans keep losing to democrats when the "men" are too scared to do the right thing because it hurts their feelings too much.

what was even the point of releasing a stupid book that everyone knows she didn't write?

My Husky puppy killed little chicks along with one of my hens. guess I should have taken him behind and house and put a bullet in his skull. my Cat found a rabbit nest in my backyard and sadly killed the two kits. should have contemplated euthanizing my cat with a bullet too right?

Also she failed the dog as a trainer.

Iv put down 2 dogs in their prime. Sometimes tough choices are the only option.

Lawd. This is the problem with Republicans these days. They see bad behavior and excuse it away because they are so insecure about their politics, they can’t admit fault. According to the article I read the 1.5 yo dog bumped a bunch birds on a pheasant hunt, which is NOT uncommon for a 1.5 yo dog, and then on the way home, jumped out of the back of truck, ran to a farm where it got into a chicken pen and killed a few chickens. Then while Noem was retrieving the dog, it tried to bite her. I’m sure Noem was gentle after the poor hunting, running away, and killing a chicken. She immediately decided the dog had to die on pulled it to a gravel pit and shot it.

If you think that is normal behavior, you’re a fricking idiot. If you think that those that are critical are lacking testosterone, you’re a serious idiot. I’m talking full retard, shouldn’t be in any position of responsibility stupid.

I’ve had dogs that bumped birds, ran off, refused to cooperate, and yes, had one even get into my quail pen and massacred a few 100 quail.

Never once did I even think about shooting my dog. Didn’t even cross my mind, even though I was seriously pissed.

I guess I’m fortunate that I didn’t react like an emotional women like Noem, which you strangely conflate with testosterone. Because that same dog ended up being an outstanding dog.

There are a few that claim it's all in how pits are trained.

But yes, it is interesting how a dog that will not do it's job while also killing a bunch of the neighbors chickens and then attempts to bite it's owner is just "poorly trained" and needs to be put in a home.

Comical.

At least she didn’t eat the dog like Obama did:

quote:

“With Lolo, I learned how to eat small green chill peppers raw with dinner (plenty of rice), and, away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat (tough), snake meat (tougher), and roasted grasshopper (crunchy). Like many Indonesians, Lolo followed a brand of Islam that could make room for the remnants of more ancient animist and Hindu faiths. He explained that a man took on the powers of whatever he ate: One day soon, he promised, he would bring home a piece of tiger meat for us to share.”
