Except, he was correct (see ratings below) and it was clear that there were shenanigans in some of the images of the crowd as well.
That said, it would have been better to acknowledge that Obama's numbers were likely higher because of tremendous DC attendance (subtly pointing out the swamp) and the extremely tight security and protester interference with accessing the area.
