Any everyone is happy lol.

If Dreamers want to stay make them pay for it. It's estimated that a high school education costs the American taxpayer 12k per year per student. Their parents more than likely didn't pay any income or property taxes. If they want to stay they must pay 48k over 10 years.

800,000 x 48k = $38.4 billion over 10 years.

Or they could just go home. I think that's reasonable after all it's what EVERY other American high school graduate did. If they want to BE American they must PAY like Americans.

Why would anyone against a wall agree to that when they can call Trump's bluff and virtue signal about his cruelty and racism in 2018?

frick no. Build the wall, burn DACA, send illegal criminals back home, and start tossing people with expired VISA's.

If people want DACA resolved one way or another, Congress needs to do it and the cuckservative leadership need to put some skin in the game. IF they come to a agreement on DACA that provide a pathway to those people Trump would probably sign if he gets border control funding and other issues he thinks are important.....but kicking DACA down the road doesn't help anything.

Set precedent that this group will never gain the right to vote and watch how quickly this is fixed.

The only reason the dems care about this is for more power.

Will never happen. Would be likened to a poll tax.

And what happens when the next "special" illegal immigrant group forms? Tie their wish to stay with another project?

Fund the wall first, then agree to extend DACA but with stipulations:

No amnesty. There should be repercussions, not rewards, for crossing the border illegally or overstaying a VISA. Parents who haven't hauled their kids here should be aware that their kids will never reap the benefits stemming from crossing them over the border.

Let those who speak fluent English, are self-supporting, in school and become self-supporting, or in the military stay, but with no path EVER to citizenship even if they marry a citizen, no voting privileges, no eligibility for public assistance or tax credits in any form for themselves or their children (including subsidies for health insurance), and NO option to bring relatives across the border to join them.

Taxpayers should not be on the hook for paying their way here. They want to attend public schools? Let them pay a tutor to teach them English, or keep them in their native-speaking country.

Spot on my man. See that's the problem with our government. Theyre always compromising their positions on certain things to get their own interests passed. No more tie in horseshite.

Better yet, let's tie the Wall to Trump's decision to kill NAFTA and every other trade agreement. We can call it the "Never Gonna Happen" bill.

Best compromise:
Dreamers stay as residents but never citizens. Felonies are one and done, bye bye!
Build the wall. No sanctuary cities. Streamlined deportation system.
No,repeat, no more illegals accepted ever again! Don't cry, say goodbye!

DNC and GOPe will not man up however. I expect total amnesty, or more likely, can kicking.
