I honestly think this is a good message from the democrats. I think a big problem with the dems is they are seen as being slaves to their constituents and not caring about everyday americans.

The biggest problem the Democrats have is that they can no longer hide their constituents.

Imagine if basically every college campus had a relatively powerful KKK group and it was readily known what members of that group hated Democrats and routinely voted Republican.

Imagine that it was fairly commonplace for that group to use its influence to prevent liberals from even speaking on their campuses.

Now, imagine that it was VERY common for prominent liberals to included office holders to voice support for these groups.

And, imagine that basically no one ever demanded that Republicans rebuke these groups and demand voices be allowed to be heard without massive disruptions, threats or outright banning?

And this is but one example.

Americans are noticing this stuff. And frankly, not only aren't Democrats rebuking their nut jobs, they are actively cultivating them.

Meanwhile, you've got members of the press running around demanding that Republicans come out against a group that has nearly disappeared from the public landscape.

Agree. Their base and target market is clear and WAY out in the open now.

Going from "I'm with her" to "She sees me!"

The republicans are actually worse when it comes to not hiding their constituents. They are going for white, older americans. They have abandoned messages to anyone other than that group.

frick if I know. I think it would be a big mistake. Probably a good VP candidate though. Pair her with Hickenlooper and that would be a winner.

What should the Republican message to other groups be? More free shite? You do realize the Dem message to minorities is laughably shallow ?

What should the message to black people be:
"Stop committing crime, get married before you have children, get a job and get off welfare."
I don't think that would sell.

Or maybe "If you vote for Republicans we will give you lots of welfare."

You can't out-Democrat Democrats. They're professionals at it.

The Republicans should start bussing in black voters and serving them dinner as well as creating non profits to sign up illegals and newly legal Hispanic immigrants to be able to vote. That message would kill.

Do you know how I know you are a virulent racist?

As for minorities, the republicans should start with not calling them criminals. Then the next message should be around that capitalism is the way to fix issues in their community. And then move onto god and family. All of these messages resonate with Hispanics, and to some blacks.

Hillary lost to Trump in part because Dems care more about dumb shite like tranny bathrooms and BLM than blue collar folks and jobs.

No he didn't. He won older white voters. blacks/hispanics/youth didn't turn out, but hillary won them by wide margins.

Trump got more the young/ Hispanic and black vote than Romney did 4 years ago by a significant degree.
