Just heard Moon say that Biden now wants to get rid of home generators.....

This climate agenda is the be all and end all excuse for these mad control freaks. They'll get my gas stove, water heater, and generator when they pry it from my dead cold fingers. Any fool should see why they want our guns in order to make a complete government takeover easy.

You don't think they've thought through their options? They don't have to take your gas appliances. They have a variety of means to shut down the gas utilities and/or make gas so expensive you won't want it.

I was having this discussion with my old man this past weekend. It's all about control. You'll live with electrical quotas and you'll own nothing and you'll like it.

That is the only logical angle. They dont want you firing up the generator in a controlled blackout or cutback. Home generators are down 99+% of the time when line power is available.
Another reason to stay away from EVs. If your power is off your car is dead…

NY is trying to push all things "clean" electric. When home owners find that space and water heating with electric costs 5 or 6 times as much as natural gas there will be a major reaction set in. And ConEd just got a big rate increase to help fight climate change through electrification on top of their already sky high rates.

I've got family out in the sticks that have collectively amassed a rather large portion of several hundred continuous acres and multiple homes. This place is WAY out in the boonies so they rely on propane, as many do. They've all got Generacs on their homes and in other certain areas that may be necessary one day. (NB4 "But an EMP would neutralize those", because they've got other methods of generating their own limited but effective power supplies as well.)
I promise, there's a point where federal overreach even under a faux "emergency declaration" will finally cross that fine line that the Establishment Uniparty has been pushing and pushing for years. Attempting to take away people's ability to farm and ranch, produce their own food and vegetables, and have the ability to self sustain without government aid of any kind, is one thing that upsets people greatly. But the act of actually trying to forcefully remove those things from a person or family will catalyze a very ugly and likely widespread and protracted conflict.
Most people will just submit and say "ok give me free shite", and they'll certainly get shite alright. But, some would rather not exist than to exist under the thumb of another.
