Right. Lower taxes and sound economic policies are great, but what we really need is someone that "acts presidential." Who cares if it screws us? FTR she is absolutely brainwashed. she has spent too many years on college campuses. school + working. she has not spent enough time in the private sector. real life can teach some rough lessons.

Europe wouldn’t be the wonderful place it is - if it wasn’t for Americans and American values - and Americans wouldn’t be able to go there if we wouldn’t have help them win the war
I really do like Europe and tremendously enjoyed it every time I went - but I don’t understand their politics and sometimes I wish they wouldn’t pretend to understand ours

If it wasn't clear, she was staying with me and my family at my house. I would have been less inclined to argue had I been at her house.

My mother is the same way. She voted Democrat starting in the late 70's, because my father was a dairy farmer and they voted their pocket book. I can't get her to understand that the Democrat Party of 2020 is not even the one of 2000. That party has gone off the deep end. She believes nothing they support. She supports cops, is against the riots, she's also against abortion, etc. Also, has bad, I mean bad TDS. This is mainly from watching CNN, MSNBC, and ABC news. I don't even argue anymore. It's a lost cause.
