I don't understand what your title is implying.
Certainly not anything true though I'm sure.

Trump didn't claim the judge couldn't be impartial because of his ethnicity. He claimed he wouldn't be impartial because of his funding of scholarships for illegal aliens and his longtime membership in the openly racist organization La Raza.
He said he was couldn't be impartial because he was of Mexican heritage and Trump wanted to build a wall a take business away from Mexico.

Here's the quote that you're referring to, please highlight the part where he discusses the judge's heritage.
quote:
Jake, I'm building a wall, OK? I'm building a wall. I’m trying to keep business out of Mexico. Mexico's fine. There's nothing ...
And here's the entire Tapper interview, where he never attacks the judge's ethnicity, but his actions and racist associations.

Exactly!!! I get pissed at my wife when she says shhhh when I use the fricking word Mexican!!!

We are building a wall. He's a Mexican. We're building a wall between here and Mexico.
All throughout the Tapper interview he talks about the Judge's heritage and often follows it up with a wall comment. He mentions heritage much more than groups he is associated with.
He could have gotten his point across just by hammering him for all of his associations.

From The Office:
Oscar: Both my parents were born in Mexico. And they moved to the United States a year before I was born. So I grew up in the United States. My parents were Mexican.
Michael Scott: Wow. Wow. That is... That is a great story. That's the American dream right there, right? Um, let me ask you, is there a term besides "Mexican" that you prefer? Something less offensive?

Link to Trump doing that? I'm sure you'll be able to find one, as you're such an honest and reliable poster.

In what context can you reasonably use a word to describe a country's people, incorrectly?

And, we are about to find out if Trump was right (yet again)
