I think Jon Ossoff has a really good chance to win the special election in Georgia's 6th Congressional district. He's a pretty impressive guy, a scholar, and an accomplished writer, and what's more important, an old fashioned Southern blue dog Democrat who favors a strong national defense and budgetary responsibility. He seems to be as far removed from the Pelosi/Pocahontas wing of the party, as Beethoven is from Spike Jones.

What does the board think about this?

No such thing anymore. He's doing it for the votes, then will fall lock-step in with the Lefties when elected, except on inconsequential items.

Can the shithead lie enough to convince enough people he won't vote with Pelosi 95% of the time?

which he will, because they all do

If he had to lie to get elected, what does it prove?

He's obviously going to be so different than all the other people in Congress, what with him talking about having five years of intelligence experience, then come to find out, he only had top secret clearance for all of five MONTHS.

Yeah, he'd fit right in.

Me too but it's not that shocking, nor is it a big deal.

He'd better win in the primary meaning he has to get 50% plus one vote. He's the only Dem with any financial backing running against about a dozen Republicans.

If he doesn't win in the first round he'll get crushed in the runoff....

Pajama Boy without the glasses. Worked for Hank (Guam is tipping) Johnson. Did documentaries for Al Jazeera. More campaign contributions from the Bay Area than from GA.

Nope, nope, nope.

So you're saying he's everything you wouldn't want. As a hard left progressive, I expect you're campaigning hard against him right?

I think Zell Miller ain't walking back through that door.

If he doesn't close it out in the primary, he'll get crushed.

It's up to the electorate whether they want to fall for Democrat bullshite again or not. The GOP is running about 17 people in the contest, so, IMHO they deserve to lose this seat for being so stupid and clueless about how to win.

He obviously also a liar. If he means all what he is saying then he should have an R on the side of his name.

Pretty telling when a democrats only chance to win an election is to run on core republican principles. He's clealry a fraud and trying to lie his way into congress. He's the worst kind of public official.

Minorities can't be bothered to vote in big numbers in mid terms. This guy isn't winning.

I was off today and saw on TV a story about him. He is a Liberal Democrat, anti-Trump POS. He will be on Pelosi's team, book it. He has a big lead in the polls and his closest GOP opponent is a female Republican that has lost two races already. I expect a run-off between those two, however, there are 17 candidates in the race Tuesday. Tomorrow night, we'll know.
