In his first TV interview since Hillary Clinton's loss, Podesta said he doesn't believe that the president-elect himself was part of the plan but suggested some of his associates may have gone off the reservation. The Electoral College electors, he said, have the right to know the extent of the Trump campaign's involvement before they cast their votes Monday.

"It's very much unknown whether there was collusion," Podesta said on NBC's "Meet the Press."
"What did Trump Inc. know? When did they know it? Were they in touch with the Russians?" Podesta asked. "I think the electors have the right to know what the answers are."
"The Russians were trying to elect a lap dog," Podesta said, referring to a recent piece by New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof.
Podesta also offered new details on the hacking of his private Gmail account, saying he wasn't contacted by the FBI until Oct. 9, two days after WikiLeaks started releasing his emails.
"The first thing the agent said to me is, 'I don't know if you're aware, but your email account might have been hacked,'" Podesta said. "I said, 'Yes, I was aware of that.'"
"That was the last time I talked to the FBI," Podesta added.

How is this type of speculation any different than the Obama birther rumors? The media roundly rejected this stuff and marginalized any political figure who talked about it.
This type of stuff is so irresponsible. It looks like the dems are going to have their profit-rich war with Russia, even if it means openly provoking Putin in spite of the new administration. Congrats libs.

The fact this stupid motherfricker gets to go on TV and spew his far-fetched conspiracy horseshite without the least bit of a challenge from the media is a sad indictment of just how corrupt and biased our media has become.

Please, please, pleeease let this Russian hacking narrative keep going.
-Regardless of the fact that the CIA has yet to release any proof of "hacking".
-Regardless of the best evidence being not that anyone was hacked but that Podesta fell to a sophomiric phishing scheme.
-Regardless that some of the members of the CIA on the investigation have refused to say it was Russian-sponsored.
-Regardless of how the CIA has repeatedly lied to the Congress and the American people (see: "torture", "renditions", spying on Senate staffers, hacking Congressional computers, etc).
-Regardless that Assange has stated from the very beginning that the info was leaked from a DNC insider.
-Regardless that Craig Murray has corroborated Assange's statement with his first-hand knowledge.
It's important to keep the narrative going because it shows the hilarity of the Left's intelligencia. How? Because what this narrative boils down to is Dems blaming Russia for interfering with the vote not by vote tampering, but for interfering with the vote by exposing the DNC's vote tampering.
And they think this is a valid talking point to help their cause
