He is not voting for ObamaCare. He is voting for a bi-partisan solution and way forward. This crappy bill was nothing more than an attempt to undermine the bipartisan momentum that had started to take shape. The Republicans don't get their "win" if they work with the Democrats and make a solution that actually works.

Where was the bipartisan work when Obamacare was enacted?

You are a shite hack

McC is NOT a conservative and never has been. He was a great American hero.
Hero's keep their word. You can depend on them. McC has been in the swamp too long and is now part of the establishment. If he was not part of the establishment, he would keep his word to Repeal and Replace Nobama care. even an imperfect version of it.
The current offer is the best we can get for now. Many people who HAD insurance had to drop it because it was too expensive. This version will fix that problem. IF they vote NO, then many more people will not be able to afford Nobama care, but McC does not care about that.

Read a little about McCain. He is of poor character (screwed over his first wife and kids), he is not conservative ay all, he used family influence and money to cherry pick a district in Arizona as the place to move to and run for office (he is not an Arizonian), he rolled over spilling the beans in captivity and repeatedly saved his on arse, etc, etc. He lies, is committed to himself, was a horrible presidential candidate, represents everything wrong with the absence of term limits and should resign.

What about whats best for the country?

Your problem is that you seem to think that families that don't get the subsidies or have lost their doctors or insurance due to Obamacare are somehow not part of this country being effected!

John is a politician who has used his position to enrich himself, to not be who he says he his, to hold power too long, and to promote positions he is paid to promote by lobbiests. He needs to retire and never be in the public eye again.

Why is McCain a great American? He was a POW in Viet Nam, that's his claim to fame! What about the hundreds of thousands of young Americans who didn't get captured? The ones who fought gallantly 24-7?
His brain tumor is causing him to act like a Democrat. I say good-bye John McCain-quit now!

John McCain is a great American despite his flaws by Tigerdev

Nah. He's been a look at me scuzzball for as long as he's been in politics

He's a classic example of what happens to a person when everyone around him declares him immune to critique of his character because of ONE thing.

They internalize it and behave accordingly.

He's really just not a very decent person and frankly, i suspect he was really guilty in the Keating 5 thing

When a man garners as much praise from his putative enemies as does John McCain, it is time to take a closer look at the true allegiances of that man.
