I disagree with McCain on a lot of issues, but it's hard for me to really put him down. Dude fought and gave so much up for this country, getting tortured every single day for how many years in a Vietnamese hell hole
I know many vets that aren't a-hole. McCain isn't one of them.

Correct. At the time he was elected, Obama had more government experience than Trump ever will. This is only factual and doesn't necessarily predicate Presidential performance. I was only answering the OP question, and a bunch of Trump fans melted because of it.

Correction.
Not what you think you are talking about. It certainly is what we are talking about. It is even what you are actually talking about.
You simply don't realize it.

Give a choice of a "diplomat" or a domestic politician whose entire foreign policy experience entailed a brief trip to give a speech, vs a man who needed to understand international economic nuances and political idiosyncrasies in order to not lose his shirt in those investments, I'll choose expertise of the latter every time.
The ability of an American to negotiate foreign business obstacles and still out-compete that country's domestic entrepreneurs is a very impressive credential.

If by 7 in the senate, you mean less than four years, I agree. He went in Jan 3,2005 and left Nov. 16, 2008.

Facts and whatnot....

If you like. Certainly more qualified than Trump by this metric. Ironic that most of this board called Obama unqualified because of this but then voted for Trump. When you get emotional about things, facts don't matter so much. "Melt" is apropo.

I'd call that as much of a disqualification as anything.

But McCain wouldn't, hence my original answer to the OP.

Then you'd be better served refraining use of the term "we", and by being better informed regarding the subject you're addressing.

Are they really fighting Trump that hard right now?

Is it that surprising that two Russia hawks are miffed about Trump stocking the cabinet with Russophiles?

Mitch McConnell said He and McCain and other Democrats get together to discuss the hacking.

WTF? Their time needs to end or they need to switch parties.

I'll trade McCain and Graham for Putin straight up, right now.

Lindsey Graham is a bigger enemy of the American people than Putin has been or ever will be.

These two sick-fricks serve their globalist masters. They do not stand for Americans. They never have.
