The media is chapped.
They've never had someone pull their pants down and spank their bottoms like this. They don't like being held accountable. They are used to being able to say and do whatever they wish to drive their agenda.

I think Trump rambles incoherently a lot, but it's hilarious seeing media who bitched this week about not getting questions in now bitching about a near-record presser length

Listen man, Trump is good at this stuff. Between Bannon planting fake RP stories, Flynn turning out to be exactly who I said he was, and Trump's people wanting to go to war against the IC, it hasn't been a good 10 days. But, then he does ridiculous shite like this which I don't even necessarily agree with, but which prompts outlandish martyrdom from a biased press that compels me to take his side. "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in."
Best I can describe it:
I don't think he's stupid
I don't think he's evil or a terrible human being
I don't think he's a great human being
I think he makes rash and unwise decisions A LOT
I think he surrounds himself with some unsavory people who shouldn't be in leadership
I agree with several of his stated priorities
I think many of his supporters are absolute morons
I think many of his supporters are decent folks wrapped up in a cult of personality
I enjoy him making the press/left angry
I agree he's subjected to a double standard
I agree he deserves a lot of criticism
That's about as clearly as I can lay it out.
