Bingo. This is why Joe gets jettisoned and Big Mike swoops in, complete with Oprah's & Taylor Swift's fawning endorsements.

To be sure, I don't think it's going to be enough for them, but they have to close that gap, and Joe Biden ain't the one to do it.

I watched it and honestly thought he did better than usual.

Bold prediction, considering most of us on this very board have been saying this since 2020.

My prediction is a Hakeem Jeffries/Gretchen Whitmer ticket

Another bold prediction. But the replacement, should the plan actually go through, is already selected.

Gavin is Fool's Gold for the Democrats. I guess, that's why part of me actually hopes that's their "plan" here.

The consensus on this board is usually wrong

Nobody is voting for Biden anyway. They're voting against Trump/America

What a lot of people don't seem to understand is, no matter how much chicanery you may think the Democrats can pull off, they still need a baseline number of ACTUAL VOTES in order to even come close to the point they can employ such a thing. For years now, they've needed someone who they could at least pass off as a reasonable moderate, with a certain amount of name recognition, to get to that baseline.

This is why they're hustling to get illegals on the voting lists. It doesnt matter who they actually vote for, they need enough registered voters to ballot stuff enough to win. Its why you saw "record turnout" last time and will again. Also why the number of votes cast was more than the number of voters in some precincts.

If they are so afraid of him dropping the hammer, someone else will be the nominee. I think if Trump wins, there will be a “let’s keep it civil so we protect the country” type thing. Just my thinking right or wrong.

They'll eventually get to that point, but there will be masked liberal activists rioting in the street posing as Trump supporters in red hats playing their roles when states don't want to certify Trump's win.

The 76 days between Election and Inauguration days are going to be cray.

I always have this belief politicians go on tv and yell about the other and then go hang out. The posturing but they know they need each other so the money will come in.

This has been the Beltway standard ... until Trump.

He began campaigning on day 1 as seeking to uproot and destroy the rot that has set in within our governmental apparatus. He's quite literally an existential threat to everything that makes Washington desirable to the ruling parasite class.

Trump appointed people like Milley, Wray, Bolton, etc. he is a threat to nobody. He didn't drain the swamp he added to it.
