This is the constant bashing and trying to get American to think Trump is bad, once that is done, they will go "We can ask for him to resign. Right that's a fair deal right?"

I know what's up.

I'll say it again, today was a turning point in his presidency. The knives are out.

This is just going to reinforce the hatred for how politicized hollywood people have become and enabled Trump's victory.

He tends to be good at this which is the thing. He's not like Colbert where he tries to politicize things typically. He even resisted Trump for a good few months into office, but has given in.

He's third in the ratings behind Fallon and Colbert. Colbert has about twice the viewership. He's not going to get any of Colbert's audience, if that is what he is trying to do here, so alienating roughly half of his potential television viewing audience is stupid.

He is paid to be a late night television host. He should focus on doing that better and stay out of the political fray.

The biggest surprise in that video is that Kimmell endorsed Mike Pence

Does he realize if that happens then Toddy will be sent to the camps?

Adam has been bashing Trump on his show.

Bashing him about what? What are his critiques?

Kimmel has made political statements before...he made a big scene about some funding Trump had pulled by using his child as a sob story.

Look, that was flawlessly delivered, whether you think Trump is great or a buffoon.

Thats exactly what is happening. Fallon went to Trump bashing when he sunk in the rankings to Colbert who was doing major Trump bashing.

Didn't kimmel weep on his show over the skinny repeal bill and suggest his newborn child might have died without Obamacare?

Totally objective.

He just thinks that Trump is objectively ridiculous. Carolla is closer with Trump and has been on his podcast a few times, but his more recent shows he seems to be at his wits end at defending him. He seems super uncomfortable talking about Trump and calls him out on individual statements. No doubt Kimmel has been in his ear about it.

His kid was actively involved and Kimmel has been well known in his own friend circles as being emotional and easily brought to tears.

I do think that's the first moment though he came out firmly against Trump. Granted Ben Shapiro, whose son was also born with that condition, empathizes with him, but called him out why this kumbaya isn't going to happen.
