I'm confused. Are you saying Jordan is establishment? I mean it makes sense because he and 200+ other Republicans voted for Mccarthy...but then Gaetz voted for Jordan, so that means he's not establishment....or maybe a lot of people have no idea what they're talking about.

This whole "establishment" premise is why Republicans can't do anything right. We declare enemies on our own side instead of pointing our metaphorical guns at the Democrats who are the REAL problem.

If you don't think 90% of elected GOP are every bit as crooked as the Dems, then YOU are the problem.

My reading says he got 2 less votes. These cowards think they are intelligent, they are sold out to the war machine money guys, they are nothing but Dems. So now we just need to target those 22 for ouster, and the punk from Alabama who FAKED saying he was now for Jordan because he heard from his constituents. Mac faked voting for Jordan, he is behind the scenes trying to defeat him, these are clowns.

The establishment runs the party. There are less than a dozen true conservatives in the house.

Leave the party. Register independent. Vote for the person most qualified. Do not ever send the RNC money. Believe and expect nothing. Otherwise, you will continue to be disappointed.

I sleep much better at night knowing that I am not a member of that group any longer.

They can want it, but they are not getting it.

Yeah, they should have let the Dems #1 proxy remain as Speaker, with his lies and empty promises. Why hold people to their word?

if you're going to do something like this at least have a plan. like, who would be a viable replacement. that's the problem with maga and its followers, there's no long term strategy. just emotional reactions.

Dems and RINOs will use the "Aid Package" to Ukraine and Israel as Leverage

We may get a new speaker, it may even be Jordan. But it wont be until the Pro Temp cuts a deal to approve the Aid package

Someone needs to invite Trump to the House floor to give a speech. Then he needs to bring it up at a few rallies. Then he needs to start calling out whomever hasn't gotten on board so primary threats can be made. Methinks that can get everyone in line pretty quickly.

This is dumb but the GOP is in complete disarray so who gives a frick? Not having a speaker obviously isn't keeping the fricking president from spending another couple hundred billion in aid to fricking Israel or Ukraine. So honestly, what does it matter?
