Could someone explain to me why the hell rape and incest are constantly throw around as reasons for needing abortions? Is it because the democrats are involved in so much of both those things?

We may exist on paper, but the societal and social divide is beyond reconciliation.
I really want to just return to the original intent of our Constitutional Republic, tell the fedgov to piss up a rope and let the States handle their own business.
That won't happen though. Nor will an amicable separation of like-minded States into two separate ideological Republics. One side would excel while the other floundered, and the floundering side would welcome the Chinese onto their soil and coordinate an invasion of Conservative territory to seize the land and resources, and then the Chinese would exterminate their hosts and be one step closer to Mao's vision of Chinese global control.
But back to the point, there is no "United States" any more.

In Republicans theocratic quest to ban bodily autonomy for women, and incorrectly frame it as a morality stance, they've declined to take into account instances in which a woman had no choice in the matter as to becoming pregnant.
This is a problem for all but the most ignorant and extreme far right Americans.

This is a custom made issue by the GOP, the irony of caring about an unborn child and then supporting the death penalty has always been lol. A life is a life, the GOP only cares about an innocent life and uses the bible to justify this. The bible teaches it a little bit differently.

Most European nations have at least some abortion regulation
France, for example, recently enshrined it as a right, but restricted it after 14 weeks.
Is France an extreme far right nation?
John Roberts, in the Dobbs decision,observed that as of 2021, America was only one of four nations in the world that didn’t allow abortion restrictions: China, Vietnam, and NK were the other 3
Across almost the entire EU, there are laws against abortion after 15-20 weeks.
I oppose many of these state laws, but I also think it would be very reasonable for a state to end the practice of elective abortion after 15 weeks or so.
I don’t think that’s an extreme position.
You are basically arguing that anyone who opposes completely unrestricted abortion is extreme

Republicans aren't out here passing 15-20 week bans, they're passing 6-week bans or outright bans or allowing anyone who thinks the sun glinted on an abortion doctor to sue them.

If 6 week bans are extreme, then so is Biden’s support for federal law that allows unrestricted abortion up until birth, something that polls in the teens
Taxpayer funded abortion has also been horribly unpopular as well, yet most dems have changed their mind on the Hyde amendment and oppose it
