I've been out of the news cycle for a day or two, wtf is the Sweden issue?

There are tons of threads regarding Sweden. From what I gather Trump said or tweeted something about them having a terrorist attack but they didn't (or did they?) and then morphed from there into all kinds of shite?
Anybody have any cliff notes?

He basically said, "look what happened last night in Sweden", and while nothing (reported) happened the previous night, he later tweeted it was about a FOX News report he had watched the night before.
However, if one has been keeping up over the past few years, it is absolutely and baldly plain that Sweden has experienced an absurd, nearly epidemic level of sexual assault/rape and violent crime from imported Somalians and so-called Syrians.

Trump never mentioned a terrorist attack. He said "look what happened last night in Sweden" and people inferred he meant a terrorist attack. He was sloppy with his wording(surprise surprise). He was referencing a story he saw the previous night about Sweden having a lot of problems with Muslim immigrants committing a lot of crimes, which is true.

I just happen to see that news report the previous night that Trump saw. It was NOT a Muslim attack. It was a story about all the new crime, rapes, and murders since they let in all those Syrian and Somalian immigrants. Said they had 27 rapes this year alone. That's what Trump saw, like I did.
