Well it's mainly Red areas that have oil, coal and food. So good luck with that

It’s true that Hillary Clinton carried just 487 counties in 2016. It’s also true that those 487 counties generate almost two-thirds of the nation’s economic activity.

And the funniest part of your post is...

The People of those 487 counties who actually generate the 2/3rds of the nations economic wealth Typically vote Republican. Leaches on society such as yourself don't get to stand on their shoulders and call yourself tall!

They actually can't stand people such as yourself.

Good luck with that. I will say this: I think the blue and red states are pretty much diametrically opposed politically so a geo-political divide might well be inevitable.

And another thing.... WTH kind of name is BLUEXIT! Seriously, can you not come up with something better than a spoof of BREXIT? Say it.. BREXIT.... Now try BLUEXIT?

Not even catchy... Doesn't roll of the tongue.

Seriously.... try again.

You obviously miss the point - San Antonio, Austin Houston and Dallas county are all blue. You don't want to play his game

The rural counties, where the work is actually done, would get rich fleecing you for all the goods you need to run your precious cities. Between that and you having to prop up all the govt. aid reliant dem voters you wouldn't even be able to afford your daily trips to Starbucks anymore.

Not my invention but I do like "conscious uncoupling" - this term makes more sense considering the brain drain from red to blue states that's been occurring for decades.

It's an interesting proposal overall. Red staters can privatize away, start your theocracies - knock yourselves out, have fun with it.

Our house ran just fine for hundreds of years without your progressive influence.

But sure. Go right ahead and separate. I can't wait to see how you and your ivory tower counties feed yourselves.

Consider that New York State alone has larger GDP than Russia.
Consder that NY state has almost zero energy, oil, or winter food production. Imageine a NY winter w/o electricity, heating oil, and food.

The stupidity of your premise is that you think those minority counties are self-sufficient. They are far, far from it, by even a facile look.

Who cares if he is trolling. The idea is fantastic and is exactly what state's rights proponents have been telling them for years.

Trump turned progressives against the fed!

No matter what he does, this makes everything ok.

Lol. Red counties are counties of property owners and families.

The stupid part is that he doesn't realize that no society can build things like iPhones or massive skyscrapers if it isn't eating.

Measuring production in dollar values is useful for many applications.

But if your Society has a high GDP because it sells a lot of cars you can't ignore the fact that the only reason the car gets built is because the people working in the plant don't have to grow their own food or acquire their own energy.

But we’ll turn our back on the federal government in every way we can, just like you’ve been urging everyone to do for years, and devote our hard-earned resources to building up our own cities and states.

So you plan on continuing to support rural America by taxing the wealthy elite.

I suspect this will change nothing. Also you need to live in a blue state like NY to have any idea if which you're talking about.

It's really comical.

If these morons hadn't insisted on using the federal government against the rest of us, they could've had all they wanted right where they lived.

That's the whole fricking point of having individual states but the left couldn't be satisfied to only rule their neighborhoods

NOW they want it and we're like, no shite assholes

I regularly criticise the dumb rednecks that want to relive the civil war. However, your idiocy is just the other side of the coin. Pure stupidity.
