Personally, I think the nationals for that sorority are partly to blame as well. They could take a stand by revoking the Alabama chapter's charter and issuing a statement that excluding a student based on skin color is incompatible with the organization's values.

And I would definitely agree with you here.
I just find the whole "its not racist, its their right" argument spouted by many on here hilarious. Sure, its their right to be racist if they so choose, but thats still racism.

Don't disagree with U of Alabama's SG decision.
Do strongly disagree with a club only letting whites in, and hopefully they learn their lesson through the backlash. It's 2014 for crying out loud.
