It's now Trump's baby: the new left wing narrative

CNN
OK, the Dems won. We have Obamacare till further notice. Obamacare didn't get a single GOP vote when passed. So, if Obamacare goes kaput it's the Dem's fault, right?
Wrong. Trump is the President now. If Obamacare fails during his term then it's his responsibility for the failure because he can save it. If he fails to save it then the fault is all on him and the GOP.
If, OTOH, Trump and the GOP fix the problems and Obamacare doesn't collapse then it's a testament to the genius of the Dems and Obama for creating such a wonderful health care system.

You can't possibly think that the left will take any responsibility for their actions much less their failures?

They created the mess. It's still their mess. But the GOP promised for seven years to repeal and replace Obamacare and that's why I'll be working to make sure people like Mo Brooks get challenged in the primary.

I think that bill that passed the House yesterday that they've been working on, and promising, for 7 years should be a great start.

Then why did trump immediately blame the democrats?

Not much ownership being displayed yesterday or this morning. It's called hypocrisy.

You pretty much summed up the entire history of the Democrat party...
Look at our history. Look at some of the worst things that have happened in the US and what party was responsible. Look at what party ended up getting the blame for it. Look at how history has been rewritten. This will be no different.
And I say this as someone who was a firm Dem voter for 15 years.

Why would a democrat vote for that bill? Reports suggest that the white house didn't even try to reach out to democrats for votes.

In fairness, Democrats have publicly been worried about them being able to pass a repeal at least through the House so they unintentionally deceived Trump by making him think the Republicans knew what they were doing.

It will happen this way. Won't be long till we start seeing trump care being branded in the media.

The only place that narrative works is in CNN's greenroom or on the View.

They are stupid.
The failure of the bill means the status quo remains - i.e., Obamacare. So, Donald Trump owns their frick up because he was unsuccessful in trying to fix it?
That's like saying Ford isn't responsible for making the Pinto because the local mechanic couldn't make it anything other than a Pinto.

i just read this article - how in the tank is CNN that they run articles about how great Obamacare is before the bill is pulled but then one that hones in on all its flaws and how unsustainable it is immediately after?
Posted on 3/25/17 at 9:42 am to NC_Tigah
They don't own the failure of the ACA, they own the specific failure of failing to repeal the ACA (or making the Democrats look like obstructionists in the process of trying).
This doesn't impact liberal voters, but you can be damn sure GOP voters will be demotivated to go pull the lever for useless cucks.
