It's taken a little bit of self control not to say some things to some of my friends on Facebook. Things like "Why are you only speaking up now?"

Sad
Y the "me too" campaign might hide real victims of abuse.

What I don't get is its asks women to come forward when some men in Hollywood faced the same issues.

All of the victim stories I've read sound like self-defense would be justified as a resolution. I have no idea how embellished these tales are (if at all), but they all strike me as damn compelling reasons to carry.

This campaign is stupid. Any female who isn't absolutely hideous has been hit on at some point in their life. It can be annoying but
1) It isn't harassment if the guy backs off after you show no interest (as long as the comment/gesture isn't rude)
2) If guys didn't hit on females, they would be insecure and wonder why.

Obviously,, men should be respectful when they hit on ladies but my experience is that most don't mean to be creepy, they're just idiots.

True, but when it happens "all at once" and becomes a movement, then it's hard to not see it as some sort of narrative attempt.

Why did all of trump's accusers come out in october of 2016?

Why did all the hollywood stuff come out only after weinstein meltdown?
