It's amazing that "True Conservatives" are so extreme on their abortion position

because they disagree with Trump, but most won't speak out for Trump's border position.
They will speak out in support of a position on abortion that will hurt Trump.
They will not speak out on Trump's policy on the border because it will help Trump.
If they were true conservatives, they would pipe down on the abortion issue until after the election. Trump won't be running for election again, so they can do whatever they want.

I think what you're talking about are radical conservatives.
Most logical thinking conservatives I know and am around believe abortion is a sick practice that will never be stopped through legislation or laws. The only way to stop it is to break through the lies that have been told to these people and convince them that an unborn baby is a human baby, not a clump of cells to be cast off for convenience and to also pray for their understanding that not only the babies live but their eternal lives are in jeopardy until they turn away from the lies and seek God's forgiveness.
And we also understand that some people will never repent and do not care about the lives of their unborn babies nor their own souls.

I'm personally for free abortion clinics on every corner and cash for sterilization, but I understand why people are much more rigid on abortion than other issues, like taxes, immigration, etc, due its human life/death element (real or perceived).
