Keep in mind this is the same woman who said she was "in tears" after seeing some of the election results.

What she experienced earlier today was something many of us who are younger have and will experience to a lesser degree. While we may have lofty expectations for tolerance and acceptance, a thing called common sense starts to grow on you when you see this happen.

To a lesser degree is like saying a detention is like experiencing solitary confinement in a prison, to a lesser degree. It's nonsense.

I'm sure one of the the last things she is thinking about is the election and all of the many unrelated things she cared about during the election.

Some of you have such a weird perception of politics when it relates to serious trauma and situations in reality.

The same people she listened to that led her to believe that Trump winning was something worth crying over are going to be the same people she listens to who are going to do anything but blame this on Islam.

thats the problem. Her actions have consequences. This is the behavior she has supported.

oh, now the left wants to leave politics out of the things and just look at things in a vacuum. How rich. Like progressives have ever wasted a tragedy to push their agenda

What? Sorry, but I have never watched a dozen plus people get murdered in front of me at a concert and neither have you. Using this tragedy as an"Ah-Hah" is sick and you should be ashamed.

Ehhh. Wake me up in 5 years when her career is dead and she makes one last attempt to resuscitate it by getting a-hole naked in a gentleman's magazine.

My only point was that serious situations and trauma can change your previous opinions on things.

I don't know what you're talking about. I was disgusted at the political exploitation of "gun violence" by the left wing.

Apparently, you're no better.

Most people filter life's tragedies through the lenses of their own ideology. It will probably just strengthen her resolve.

Of course. But did she say anything about her political views in relation to Islam? If she has, then I see your point. If it's solely because she supported the candidate all of her friends supported, then who knows why she said she "literally cried."

Hey man they accepted that terrorism is a normal part of life and should be accepted.

I see your point, but sometimes people need a taste of the "real world" to understand and want to protect what they have at home

I see your point. I probably presumed her opinions on Islam based on her previous statements on Trump.

Her opinion could be swayed through political discourse and not having to watch people die.

That is like saying well Uncle Joe died and that sucks...But hey at least everyone in the family is here together...at the funeral.
