There simply aren’t enough ironic illustrations, to adequately express what has happened to ESPN this week. The network that has become a bastion of left-wing media activism, was protested by two different groups of leftists, angry at ESPN for suspending an activist journalist that they should have fired a month ago.
On Monday, about six protesters showed-up to ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut, only hours after SC6 host Jemele Hill was suspended for telling fans angry at Cowboys Owner Jerry Jones, to boycott his advertisers.

According to MyRecordJournal.com, “Police were called to ESPN about 11:55 p.m. Monday, Lt. Stephen Elliott said. There were about six protesters blocking an ESPN driveway. Police told the protesters that they were on private property, and the protesters left without incident.

“Mike Soltys, a spokesman for ESPN, said the company respects “their right to protest peacefully.

Believe it was an observation by ex- GA dem Zell Miller on his stint in DC.

The democratic base gets together and has to fight over their share of the pie. Who's "more special". It's a winner/ loser deal. His view is it can't work- thus he declared the Dem base could never be a strong, national, coalition.

Conservatives (not GOP, but real conservatives) want to be left alone. His view, 20 years ago, was that this was the natural human condition. I'm not sure he is correct.

Al Sharpton: We'll Boycott ESPN If Jemele Hill Gets Fired | TMZ.com

Al Sharpton: 'it violates Jemele's first amendment'.

ESPN can dictate what she can and cannot say on air and fire her at anytime for any reason.

So the police were called by a network that has catered to the false narrative of cops killing unarmed black men on protesters led by race hustler outside their studio because they suspended a black female anchor who called for a boycott on advertisers of Jerry Jones for wanting to make his players stand which ironically are many of ESPN's advertisers. This is entertaining as shite ,and ultimately when money is threatened people will walk back their stance. Owners are starting to see that the majority of people do not back this leftist American Hating Ideology and it is starting to show in lack of ratings and money.
