Agree completely. Anybody who believes the literal interpretation of the Torah, Bible, or Koran, is accepting the writings as the word of God. Why didn't God tell those dumbasses that Earth was not flat?

I really don't understand why we are connected at the hip to Israel. They're one of our worst allies and suck up our defense money, corrupt our politicians with special interest money and constantly spy on us there and here in the United States.

I honestly think that part of the problem is that the U.S. with its existing foreign policy and the power of our corporate military industrial complex has "out kicked its coverage" and we're reaping the results.

Wouldn't bank on that. McCain damaged the GOP dearly by stating he would "bomb Iran tomorrow" during his campaign, and that has stuck around as the current administration is the only one to stand up to the Likud and Netanyahu's demand to invade Iran and Syria. The GOP needs to distance itself from AIPAC and the demands of the Israel-Firsters as much as possible regarding foreign policy.
Running on a pro-WW3 platform will not go over too well at all right now.
