They are like the drunk person at the zoo that wants to pet the tiger because it's so pretty. Then completely freak the frick out when it starts eating them.

Stats are only his 'batting average' in reference to his predictions. The predictions on AI are in my head from reading some science site awhile back. I was interested after watching Ex Machina. That movie was as unnerving as anything I've ever seen.

He has been right so often that most take his word as not predictions, but linear progression of thought: it's logical end and when it will happen.

A singularity will happen. It is the only logical end.

The elite know this and wish it to happen... Look at Eric Schmidt and his quotes on AI. Humanity either combines with AI or is left behind in the dust-bin of history.

I personally believe in the next 20 years the western hemisphere will be as dystopic as anything we see in the Middle East or North Korea today. The haves and the have nots.

Because they have no response to give.

Honestly, I'd love to hear how any lefty or homosexual can defend Islam from a logical standpoint.

Yes indeed they are addressing them, loud and painfully clear! And clearly believe in exposing their children to barbarism at an early age. Of course, the sheep will say it's fake news or something equally idiotic.

I like how they always have a pile of big frickin rocks just ready to go. Is there a guy that goes around with a truckload of BFR's looking for people that need stoning?

Radical muslims want to kill you. Moderate muslims want the radical muslims to kill you.

Gay and MAGA here, and I can't for the life of me explain why so many in the LGBTQ community will rally around Islam to protect it from evil Christians and those who see it for what it is. They will ignore the terrible human rights violations being committed daily in Muslim countries under state sponsored laws that allow them to do so. This is all fine, and must be protected by the LGBTQ community.

However, mention Trump or Republicans, and get ready for a lashing. They inexplicably view Republicans as a more dire and immediate threat to their lives. It absolutely flummoxes me in every way.

Those are the moderate Muslims. The radical ones would be dousing him with gasoline at this point while stoning him

How many people in this thread have conversed with a Muslim? Show of hands?

Gay and anti "MAGA" here...I think people in the LGBT community rally around Islam because they are also a group of people who feel marginalized by Christians, just as gay people were for a long time. I just think the world would be a better place with no religion at all, but I know I'm probably in the minority on that one.

So being thrown off a building and stoned to death is preferable to being "marginalized?"

Obviously the only ignorance is on the part of the posters not the perpetrators in the OP

I just offered a reason why many in the LGBT community sympathize with Muslims in the US. I didn't say I necessarily feel that way. I try and treat everyone the same regardless of their religion, political stance or sexuality. That first picture makes me sick. The people just standing there looking at the guy on the ground...I can't imagine.

I bet $10 that the gay guy either threatened to go public with him and the killer having sex, or he turned the killer down for sex. I've spent time in the middle east, and I was told, "We don't have gay people in Afghanistan." Yet every Thursday evening the soldiers would go to the "feminine" guys' shacks for some man on man action. Crazy culture.

I have. Worked with the guy for close to two years and was discussing my atheistic beliefs with another coworker. Me and that coworker disagreed, but were able to agree on the premise that as long as we didn't try to force our beliefs on anyone else, then it was all good. The muslim coworker was close by and I asked what he thought. He was visibly angered and insisted that I "should not ask him about religion" and that "you don't want to have that discussion with me"...the implication being that his beliefs did not permit him any room to have a polite discussion with someone who disagrees with Islam.
