Is Trump changing positions or is CNN just focused on reporting everything in a negative way? CNN would have done the same for Obama, right? Gitmo is gone, correct?
This is such a tired excuse. Obama sucked as a president and followed through on a minimal amount of his campaign promises, but using that as a defense of Trump's shortcomings is ridiculous. "Obama did it, so Trump can do it" is absurd.

He changes his rhetoric and now they have abstained from voting in the UN, which was a huge surprise.

I dont think trump really has positions, which is a plus and a minus.
I do think he is trying to not be a complete failure, and that is his overriding goal. this means being flexible.
its not a bad thing IMHO, although I don't really like his new positions better than the old ones.

Trump is following through on every campaign promise he can do.

Didn't even know about the bomb in Afghanistan.
He didn't have to. Reported on tv that the General overseeing the operations there had carte blanche to do as he pleased - and he did it.
Now we know the rest of the story.

Yep. No wonder the Neocons are winning. That backwards thinking pence is running the show. Trump is like Reagan when he had dementia while in office there as a prop.

He is wheeling and dealing. We could very well see China take care of fatso in NK. NK will die without Chinese support.
Sessions doing work. Mattis doing work. Gorsuch in the Supreme Court. Stood up to Putin.
He has done more than Barry ever did!

I believe on Syria it was a big surprise. Russia was counting on their vote.

Counting on was wrong verbiage to use there. Sorry. Meant "expecting" them to back them up.
At least according to CNN, who called this a win for Trump, so when they say shite like that, you know it was big

Unfortunately this Syria thing has him walking into neocon land. He needs to get away from that.
Literally if he did ACA repeal, immigration (both mexico and islamic country) reforms, tax reform, and Supreme Court I would be ecstatic.
Unfortunately only 1/4 of those is looking like it's going to happen. Still holding out hope on immigration now that Gorsuch is confirmed.
