Animals is a racist code word for blacks. Its a way to dehumanize them, and make them appear inferiror. Your deflection on "all protesters" is weak, its a protest about white cop on black citizen. You may have not intended it in a racist way, but its still racist.

I can understand the protesting, though I think in this case it's misguided and probably being pushed by white folks behind the scenes. The looting is just opportunity for criminals to be criminals.

if it is, i'd be curious how long the black community will last. I would imagine the average black person out guns the average white person. The problem is, white people can afford to buy ammo.

Not condoning rioting at all.
But after decades of peaceful complaints , protests & litigation about abuses by the LAPD upon residents of South Central LA it took the L.A. Riots to help transform the LAPD.(This Ferguson mess is nothing).
Not perfect ,but a significant transformation that decades of other just/legal means failed.

Unreal what these people are saying. You see the " reverand" Al"Obamas pal"!Sharpton in the background with that hated look listening to the tale that the evidence to indict was not given in order to get an indictment. Other words "lie" I guess. Their opinion falls right in line with their leader , when you don't get your way ignore the law. Maybe they can dig up Johnny Cockran and let him show us how this all doesn't fit.

I think it's origins go back to comparisons with monkeys. Howard Cossel got in big trouble by describing a play by a black WR for the Redskins.
"Look at that little monkey run!"
Ironically, Howard was a big contributor to Grambling State.
Oddly, between marriages Zach dated a Malaysian Chinese doctor. I asked her if they had any racially derogatory terms for white people. She said "Ha Macaow"..it translates "Red Haired Monkey." It makes sense. Whites are the only humans with red hair and there are some monkeys with red hair.

I will agree there are a multitude of people taking advantage of the chaos to accomplish ulterior motives. But not all of those protesting are thugs.
