A Democrat administration decides to secretly purge the country of 2,000 right wing bloggers, radio hosts and social media personalities during a Middle East war and several terrorist acts in the US that temporarily cripples the internet and cellular communications.
They use several federal agencies to round up these people and ship them off to an isolated prison complex in the Midwest and execute them and incinerate the bodies.
The purge is slowly discovered by the right and they start assassinating federal officials and leftists media figures.
It’s a good read if you have a couple of minutes.

Sounds like a takeoff from the Book “Unintended Consequences “. It wouldn’t take many assassins for hell to break loose.

Actually not a bad read, for fanfic. The writing is a bit weak, and the conversations are very stilted, but the story is entertaining, as were some of the little throw-away comments.

There is a 6 part documentary on the Spanish Civil War that provides great insight into the communists taking over Spain. The blue-print hasn't changed much.
