Is there a rich country that got that way thru leftist policies?

Honest question. Seems like every time there's an "economic miracle" it comes from countries moving to the right economically.
I'm curious if there are any examples of right wing nations moving left significantly and the people getting richer?
-Brazil: no
-Chile: no
-Mexico: no
-China: no
-Spain: no
-Greece: no
-Cuba: no
-Venezuela: no
-Argentina: no

China has moved further left in the last decade than any other culture. Granted they started on the extreme right.

The govt controlled the economy, if you started a foreign business there the govt had to control the majority position.
The majority of citizens were not allowed to own a business outright.
