Is there a nation doing a better job at race relations than the USA?

Second question: For those who think the USA is a racist nation, which country is the model toward which the USA should aspire?
You can answer this question as a fill in the blank. When it comes to race relations, I wish America was more like ______________.

Somehow, African immigrants to America are able to earn more than the national average. That wouldn't be the case if the system is dead set against those who are black

Japan has absolutely ZERO race issues - we should have followed their model.

Japan has zero race issues because there is only one race there

I think you missed his attempt at funny.
For the OP, I'm not sure if another nation is better at race relations. Even if we are the best, it doesn't mean there is no room for improvement and if people want to peacefully protest and/or draw attention to what they perceive as a failing, what's the problem?

The USA is so far and away the least racist nation on the planet in 2017 that whomever is in 2nd is more likely to get passed by who is in last than they are to even sniff our asses.

Yah and as a tourist there I actually appreciated it more. It felt like what visiting England in the 1940s must have felt like for a non Anglo.

I got kicked out of a store because the owner said "no gaijin" while living in Japan as a resident alien. My answer to him was "frick off, I guess you don't like money"

Actually, studies have shown America is one of the least racist countries, believe it or not.
And the most racist? Take a wild guess as the majority of them aren't white countries...

Uh, they actively hate Muslims so there is that

Even if we are the least racist, can't we still strive for improvement?

Up front I'll say that when you peel off the shrillest voices IRL and the idiot trolls and shite-talkers on social media, you're sure to find that most people are accommodating toward Americans of all stripes. That's not to say they don't harbor racial prejudice, but they do work to minimize it and treat others fairly and decently.
Small philosophical critique of your premise, though. "Better than others" doesn't necessarily mean "good." Competition is a critical driver of progress and innovation in all fields of science, technology, sport etc. and in human relations. But many of humanity's achievements came about because men of vision did not stop at "better than before" or "better than the rest." They looked beyond to the limits of their imagination. No matter how you adjudge race relations in the US, it should be held to a standard we believe in. Not what we did in the 1950s or what people in some other country are doing.

Of course things could be better but the discourse must be honest and based upon realities, not some pre-conceived, worn out horseshat

Did you not attack him, Burn down his business and ruin his life?

1. Are you saying the USA is the best nation in the world when it comes to race relations?
2. If not, which nation is doing a better job?

We were persecuted a little bit as well. Had our concierge make us reservations to a nice restaurant and they said they couldn't take us when we walked in. We offered to wait until a table opened up and they (very politely) shooed us out. I thought it was hilarious but I guess it would get old if you actually lived there.

Do the Arabs still hate the Persians? I don't know how they can tell each other apart?

Actually my incident happened more than once in 11 and half years of living there. Being a young Marine in Okinawa was pretty difficult. Of about the 10 girls I dated 9 of them refused to tell their parents they were dating a gaijin due to ridicule or afraid of be disowned by their families. So when I see people of color say "no white person can ever understand what it's like to be us" I always laugh. Because I have experienced it.
