I thought he would be allowed to govern . I didn't know that the Dems would take hostages and that their base would cheer them on for it . The Dems honestly believe there is a traitor in the White House. That level of lunacy is not compatible with American culture, so I think this leads to a commensurate backlash of equally batshit crazy and Civilizational Decline in our lifetimes. The center can not hold when America declares war upon itself.

• Supreme Court Justices
• Extreme MSM/DNC/GOPe heartburn over Trump

Going about as expected. Trump need not play nice with the swampers.

Other than that, I didn't expect he would be able to keep all of his campaign promises.

Some of them he never intended to keep.

I love the irony of that cover. These same Democrat statists, who demonize Russian, would be overjoyed to usher in a communist style "utopia" (hell hole)

no.

I thought there would be the occasional slip up, or foot in mouth moment. I didn't expect it to be daily.

No, it's been far more disastrous than I expected.

More or less, except 1) I didn't fathom that the Media would be both so rabid and so dishonest in its attacks on him, 2) didn't think the GOP would be as impotent as it has been. Trump has done a good job of fighting the Media, the Dems and the GOP, but he can only do so much.

No and frick all those on the left that are pushing this time wasting donkey show. Instead they should be voting on tax changes that would actually help the citizens of this country.

I literally wish we could start from scratch and re-elect every position.

It has been an absolute mess. You would think the Democrats could protest all they want and it wouldn't make a difference as they do not have a majority in the house or the senate, but Trump can't even get Republicans on the same page. He barely has any time to focus on actual policy because he's fighting off conspiracy theories.

His immigration ban was blocked. The American Healthcare Act is a joke that will sink the Republican party. The American people will be paying for the border wall. Republicans already talking of impeaching him.

That's crap. The GOP controls every branch of government and can't get anything done. They barely passed a healthcare bill through the House and the Senate GOP immediately said they weren't touching that bill and would write their own. The leadership of the GOP is incompetent with the exception of McConnell and doesn't know how to bring together the various factions within the party to actually pass legislation.

Ideally this is how our government should work. Party members should not vote lock step with one another like the Democrats do.

Trump is doing fine.

I did underestimate the resolve of leftist media. They are like a cornered animal, quite dangerous.
