Against the Ukrainian war evidence that we are living in the midst of a successful psy op?
By all rights we should all be righteously angry at a government full of psychopaths who puts us in harms way of a nuclear war that could be worse than every war this country has ever had combined.

There were no mass protests, in fact hardly a peep, when the same gov’t locked us out of our businesses, churches, and schools over a virus not much different than the flu for the vast majority of us.

Say what you will, but Russia is a major adversary. And they are getting their military (and government) financially destroyed. Even though we are sending a lot of money, it’s a tiny f Rea cation of what war would cost

Most of the citizens of this country are so clueless to what's going on in this world that they have no idea that there's even a war going on in Ukraine.

I blame the internet for given us a method to vent without actually accomplishing anything meaningful.
That and, we're way too comfortable with life to protest throwing a few hundred bill away.

Why is the assumption that we’d have to wage war against Russia if the Ukrainians didn’t?
Moreover, let’s pretend your analysis is solid- what makes you think that Ukraine is the one thing this administration doesn’t frick up? We should want Biden and his team to do as little as possible about everything.

Better to put a stop to Putins expansionist desires in the Ukraine and let their people fight them than to take them on in Finland or Poland or Germany with Nato personnel. Need to not start a precident that all they have to do is make nuclear threats and we go running with our tail between our legs. What would be the point of our huge military spending and nuclear capabilities if we fold at the first minor bluff.

There's undoubtedly some of that at play, but I think most of it comes from a combination of today's political philosophy devolving down to having to be all in on one side or you are considered to be all in on the other by that side, and people simply not really caring enough to do anything more than put up the Ukrainian flag on their social media and type "Slava Ukraine!"

The nature of war is that it is unpredictable. We have a weak and stupid president and legislature that is fat and drunk from the table of greed and a Ukrainian president who is a snake oil salesman against an amoral political pragmatist who will do whatever he needs to do to win.
Why would you trust any of them not to push this war to the limit of no return? Why are you so confident in a peaceful outcome where you feel the need to mock?
