Romney repeatedly discussed his God and his faith as to why he voted to convict.

Is his God Superior to others that prayed for guidance and came to a different conclusion?

Is his faith better than those that voted to acquit?

Is he morally superior to those that voted to acquit?

Seems that is what he is saying. He didn't really lay out reasons for Trump being guilty.

Instead, he played the Faith card in an effort to prevent people from judging his actions.

Romney’s God wears magical pajamas, so case closed.

I would seriously like to hear Romney's thoughts on the process used by Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi to produce the Articles.

The whole thing was dishonest and an insult to Americans who believe in due process.

Did this not offend him?

Hmmmmm well I do think his God has a much better sense of humor.
No doubt about that at all.

Romney's God put the garden of Eden in Missouri. Take from that what you will.

Maybe Romney should ask why he didn’t win in 2012

Trump should name Romney ambassador to France next year

I am a devout Christian. I do my best to faithfully seek God's will. But part of that is looking around at other faithful people and seeing where they fall on something and hashing it out in community. If I am ever going to stand by myself and claim some kind of personal revelation I would have to be super confident and be able to quote scripture chapter and verse. My community helps me seek the truth. Mitt's decision reeks of hiding behind religion to justify his grandstanding.

Mormon men believe that one day, they will inhabit their own individual planets and have multiple wives and seed the new planet with spiritual babies. They also believe that if one of their wives is unfaithful on the earth, he can banish her in the afterlife.
So in that regard, Romney views himself and a future God.

Someone should ask Mitt for a clarification on this faith based decision. Which of the following applies?

1) God only spoke to him, or
2) God spoke to every other Republican Senator, and every one of them ignored it

I am guessing he meant number 1. In his mind, he is a suffering prophet from the Bible. He's a modern day Elijah, except he is worth like $250 million.

Just like Joseph Smith did not have a vision from God and was certainly NOT a prophet from God, Mitt Romney did not receive divine guidance from God...

In an article I read this morning, I think Politico, he said God didn’t speak to him, but the weight of the evidence convinced him how to act.
