Is Bannon the guy pulling all the strings behind the scenes at the White House?

How much influence do you think he has had so far in the first few weeks of the Trump administration?

I have no clue and neither does anyone else here. I imagine Donald values his advice (why else would he be in the position?), but I do not envision a scenario in which Trump does something simply because Bannon told him so.

Andrew Breitbart is ashamed of his legacy.

Trump is an alpha male. He does not take marching orders from anyone.

This is what they do when a republican is in office. The invent an evil bad guy pulling the stings for the incompetent president. Dick Cheney and now Bannon.

They let that evil Pokémon looking bitch Valerie Jarret run Obama's Admin for 8 years and never mentioned her name.

Either way, while I disagree with Bannon about a lot, he is an extremely interesting and complex person.

Dude, Trump is the alpha male other alpha males aspire to be.
Advise? Yes but I doubt think anyone controls Trump.

So you think he is just incompetent then?

To be fair, Dick Cheney was an actual bad guy. He pushed Bush into sticking us with the Iraq boondoggle that my generation will spend their entire lives paying for and actually encouraged him to go after Saddam which is one of the most stupid foreign policy blunders ever in american history.

Trump surrounds himself with people that are knowledgeable and can help him make decisions, but he's in control. Another influential person assisting Trump is Dr. Sebastian Gorka. But neither are controlling his decisions. Anyone that watches Trump knows how intuitive he is and his accuracy in responses under pressure.

A complete unknown and a question no one on here can answer unless they are literally with Trump every day.

Probably similar to other close White House advisors. Why is this a big deal now?
Presidents have close advisors they rely on. This Bannon talking point is one of the weakest I've seen.

You think Trump has the type of personality to be a puppet of Bannon?
The answer is no you don't but you are read something on DU or r/politics and are spreading the lies.

Trump is an alpha-male narcissist who won't listen to anyone.
Trump is a puppet who can't make his own decisions.
Trump wants to make bad decisions but is thwarted at the last minute by his advisors.
I can't keep up!

And if he's a Democrat, they sit and watch the President create failure after failure and accuse anyone that disagrees with him of being racist, and instead of making a situation better, the people that the Democrat President surround himself with, line their pockets and take advantage of making bank for themselves, to hell with the rest of the country.

Yep. My wife reads all of the paper every day. I mentioned Valerie Jarrett's name the other day when we were discussing politics and she said "who's that".
