I find it funny that all of the broadcast networks are not going to air this live. Makes sense considering Thursday is the big night of the week, and its sweeps as well.

But have no fear, Univision is here to air it.

If you oppose this you are a racist according to some Univision goon:

It'll be difficult for Republicans to reject executive action on immigration and not to be seen as anti-immigrant and anti-Latino.

Guess I'm a racist then. But at least I'm not a republican.

So I have that going for me. Which is nice.

I think the broadcast networks may actually be protecting King Barack by not airing this speech... they know how unpopular it would be and it wouldn't be received well, might as well keep it on the down low

What's hilarious - Obama asked all three major networks to carry his 10 minute spiel. Their answer - no thanks, Thursday is too busy of a night.

That's by design

They will take a break during the Latin grammys to cover his speech while the networks ignore it. That way only the people who favor his action will hear it while it goes unannounced elsewhere.

Heard that too. However, as deep in the tank that the three networks are in for Obama, I still find it a little strange that they wouldn't swallow another 10 minute mouthful of Obama to help push the agenda.

I agree its odd. The only explanation I can discern is that they know his unilateral action is very unpopular and they don't want to expose their creation any further.

You got that from that tweet? Jesus, do you overreact to everything?!? The tweet is simply making an observation, not accusing anyone of being racist.

It says if you disagree with the EO, you're anti-Latino. Pretty cut and dried to me.

You know that tweet is white washed if anything

You know Jorge Ramos would call us all racist bigots if he knew he could get away with it without any backlash.

No........
I've seen enough stuff from this lying President, and his sissy-fit over losing record level of Democrats seats the last 4 years House & Senate). This President has to go no further than a mirror for blame for all that, but we all know how Obama handles personally responsibility, don't we? This isn't appealing to us at all, and an embarrassment for the USA. I know I'm not an political expert, but I don't recall seeing such pettiness that a child migth do, from a President. Brings a whole new meaning for the term to "Being Presidential".
It's not a good term either.

I am getting a good idea about what you might say if you could get away with it.

Either he is making an observation or he is making an accusation. You can't claim to have the ability to read someone's mind and know what they "would" say.

did you miss the whole "tea party" thing in 2010?

the article didn't

quote:

A tea party-influenced GOP is poised to erupt, if and when Obama follows through on his promise.

also i believe those are not executive orders and are bureaucratic regulatory action. there is a difference

By the way, I'm all for good immigrations getting the help they need. But this isn't The Presidents decision alone, and Obama again is showing only the people Obama agrees with matter in the USA under his leadership. I don't agree with everything someone says, but I respect them enough to understand they count has Americans too. Of all people in the USA, a President is suppose to understand this the most.

Everyone in America opinions matters
This President doesn't think so
Shameful

I've never seen a president in my lifetime that is so blatant about being the president of a party instead of a president of the people.
