Sure...I bet you believe Hillary is a victim and never had any intent when she had a server full of classified information hidden in her bathroom closet.
What type of business do you believe Trump was doing with Russia?

I was speaking more so to the point you made about it being investigated for years and still, nothing was found to be criminal---that didn't stop ppl on the right from running with the whole conspiracy theory thing.

The OP is simply pointing out WHY there should be an investigation, and I just don't understand how the right can be angry that there is one.

Not trying to stir the pot, but some of you who oppose of this investigation refuse to acknowledge two simple facts.

1. Paul Ryan admits that he and others knew for a fact before the election that Russians were attempting to meddle in our election as well as elections of US allies.

please see CBS interview LINK

2. At least 4 Trump Cabinets members ( Jeff Seesions, Michael Flynn, Carter Page, J.D Gordan, Kushner) had meetings with Russian officials like Ambassador Kislyal DURING THE CAMPAIGN.
LINK

Michael Flynn took payments for Russian Officials.

Jeff Seesions recused himself from the investigation.

I am not trying to stir the pot BC I think this is a huge distraction to country and wish the circumstances were different, but Can anyone give me a reason why a Candidate and staff would need to repeatedly meet Russian Officials before He is even elected president?

Do you know the real facts of any of those supposed advisor meetings with russians?

Because the facts surounding those meetings arent nearly as nefarious as they have been portrayed in order to continue this absurd narrative.

Even IF a few advisors took what... like 250k in speaking fees From Russians. It PALES in comparison to the 50 mil given to Hillary from the Saudis. But i guess that wasn't intended to influence anything.

Hmm it seems that you are only focusing on meetings that repubs had with people associated to Russia. Try to also include meetings democratic officials also had with Russian associates and then we can talk about anything that seems out of the ordinary.

It appears all hands are on deck to try and combat the crumbling Russian narrative.

I know when shite is hitting home because a bunch of fricksticks show up on this board that I've never seen before attempting to do damage control.

What you assholes try to use as cover is broad statements.

The US and Russia have been trying to influence eachother's elections since 1945 if not earlier.

You assholes want to use broad terms and convince idiots that something has changed in the last 72 years when it hasn't.

You are all so full of shite.

Anyone want to talk about the Uranium One deal?

No.

You frickers want to poke your head out of a stump hole and peep some bullshite and pretend you have some kind of integrity.

No one else on the armed services committee had a private one on one meeting with the Russian Ambassador.

Oh shut up. Kislyak visited the Hill over 20x from 2009-2016. Ambassadors meet with Congressmen all the time.

quote:

3) He has conveniently forgotten nearly everything they talked about in that meeting.
4) When asked by McCain (the actual chair of the committee and someone with his own memory issues) Sessions could only remember one topic related to committee work that came up, and that was because he talked to a different ambassador the day before.

Because just maybe they were innocuous meetings about nothing of significance to Sessions. Not to mention, two of the three "meetings" weren't meetings at all as they were simply at the same banquets/luncheons listening to some Heritage Foundation speakers.

quote:

) He completely forgot about the meeting two times, once on his security form and another when testifying in front of Congress.

This is you being intellectually dishonest. He was advised that he didn't have to disclose meetings and across the room acquaintances that happened while he was in the capacity as a Senator performing committee business. And, his answer to Al Franken was bastardized way out of context and you damn well know it. He said he didn't meet any Russian officials under the auspice of a Trump Surrogate, which is 100% true.

You sir, are intellectually dishonest and have shite credibility in this argument as a result.

Nope, I'm saying I'm ok with both being investigated just to ensure everything is ok and I don't understand how you can be ok with one but, can easily dismiss the other.

But the propaganda is doing what it is supposed to do - distract and confuse - while the establishment continues with its agenda.

Funny how Trump plays right along with it, I mean considering he's all anti-establishmenty and all.
