also opposes divesting federal lands to the states. Pretty interesting choice. While he wouldn't be the guy I'd pick, I don't think he's a terrible selection.

Nobody denies climate change is happening, silly.

It's whether it's anthropogenic (man-made) or not, and even if humans are impacting it, is it significant enough to matter. And, can humans actually take reasonable measures to stop it from being catastrophic.

Yes, there is climate change.
Yes, humans have some impact.
How much? Very little.
Can we stop it? Hell no.
Can we slow it down? Hell no.
Why is this an issue then? Bureaucrats seeking power, manipulation of people, political posturing, and money. Gobs and gobs of money.

He won't have a say in this if Trump and/or Congress disagrees with him.

Trump wants to keep it public. He's said it in his campaign speeches out West and his son is all for public lands. Unless something changes, Teddy Roosevelt's greatest accomplishment shall remain

quote:

“I don’t like the idea because I want to keep the lands great, and you don’t know what the state is going to do,” Trump told Field & Stream, according to CBS News. “I don’t think it’s something that should be sold.”

quote:

While speaking at a media summit last week organized by the Theodore Roosevelt Conservation Partnership in Fort Collins, Colorado, Trump Jr., an avid hunter and angler, defended keeping federal lands managed by the government and open to the public.

Well there it is!! One person "believes" something is very scientific evidence of the existence of something.

Guess Jeebus is real. Look how many priests believe in his existence. PROOF!!

The answer to why is because it is the greatest scheme for global redistribution of wealth ever devised.

If all countries can be duped in to making global cap and trade treaties then the wealthy industrialized nations will have to trade for carbon credits with non industrialized nations.

Cap and trade will have zero impact on carbon output but will have major "share the wealth" implications.

People argue that human impact has a minimal or no effect or climate change but not that the climate is always in flux

Later, Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) pointed to a 2010 letter in which Zinke called climate change a threat needing immediate attention and asked if Zinke's position had changed.

"I want to be honest with you," Zinke said. "We both agree that the climate's changing. We both agree that man is an influence."

"A major influence," Franken injected.

"I'm not an expert in this field," Zinke responded.

"To me that's a cop-out," Franken said, adding, "I'm not a doctor but I have to make healthcare decisions."

Franken sounds like a pompas a-hole that doesn't know much besides trying to get a snipit from someone so he can twist it and run with it

Zinke's explanation was pretty straight forward.

1.) Climate change does exist
2.) Man does exert influence over climate change
3.) Unsure if humans can stop influencing climate at this point in time, but all energy options are on the table.

To the left this means, "we must implement a carbon tax to grow government and redistribute more wealth".

To the right this means, "yeah, so what"?

Bull shite.

We all know climate changes. Many of us just don't believe that man is causing it and or having much of an impact.

Many of us also know what the endgame of the global warming crowd is.
We know the proposals are to institute cap and trade of carbon credits.
We also know that it is about global redistribution of wealth.

Useful idiots such as yourself who have been duped to become true believers of this bullshite don't even realize you are being played.
