Getting nuked twice less than 4 years later says otherwise.

I'm sure he's taking a shot at someone though.

He's mocking the Canadian leaders' Castro comments?

He's making fun of the Canadian PM. It was a little too sophisticated for most

Why did you leave out the tweet before that?

Newt Gingrich ?@newtgingrich
December 7 is a good day to remember that the world is dangerous and shattering surprise is possible even when we have been warned.

Being objective, it was a strategic feat to do what they did. What it took to cross the pacific and not be seen for a surprise attack is impressive.

Newt is known to love military history and can appreciate what it took to pull this off. He is not saying he likes what they did.

He wasn't congratulating terrorists in that tweet so I left it out.

Thank you.

There is nothing offensive about pointing out the obvious.

I know he did not mean anything by it it was just a poorly thought out tweet that I found humorous.

He wasn't in your tweet either. Are you denying that the attack on Pearl Harbor wasn't a strategically amazing Japanese military endeavor?

Is that a quote from Obama during his apology tour to Japan?

Or you just didn't realize the context of his tweet.

It's the same kind of delicate issue we have discussing 9/11 - especially military and national security professionals -

Is it impossible to recognize these operations as brilliant in execution, while at the same time condemning the barbarity, inhumanity and cowardliness of those same operations?

Is critical thinking and rational analysis THAT polarized that the 2 positions are mutually exclusive?
