Solipsistic reality means that the only reality he’s capable of embracing has to do with his own self and the perception by and protection of his own self. And for a president to be so bound in this isolated solipsistic reality could not be more dangerous for the country and for the world.

This is true for every guy who ever held the job of President.

If you don't think this about politicians in general you are incredibly naive.

It's just that most politicians are better at lying than him. The Clintons were masters of it (e.g. The meaning of "is" and "I cannot be alone in a room with someone else"). They inveigle and dissemble. They have raised lying to an artform by propagating deception without ever saying any one phrase that can be nailed down as a lie.

Trump, for all his faults, makes such obvious, transparent lies that to me seem far less corrosive than the slickly packaged lies of other politicians. That is, take him seriously, but not literally.

But maybe I am too cynical.

I'm still waiting for my $2,500 cost reduction. Can I start a lawsuit?

Call Sokolove law. Just as soon as they wrap up their Mesothelioma lawsuit, they'll certify a class on Obmacare lies.

Thanks for posting. My mother brought it up yesterday and I've been meaning to read. Looking forward to reading the book when it drops.

This is from a psychologist, not a "writer"
It's actually a consortium of 27 prominent psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals who got together to remotely assess the president's mental health at a "duty to warn" conference in March.

Duty to warn conference? Lololol. Should call it the pussy hat conference.

It's just left wingers doing left wing things and of course, you love it.

The resist crew is fricking amazing though. They are attacking at every possible angle.

Politicians lie about everything all the time...they are full of shite...

This is the dumbest point I've seen as a slight against the POTUS...

Ah... Ok.

So.. "based on what we've seen on TV, here are our findings." That's legitimate.

So politics aside, what's your informal read on Trump? Obviously you're not violating Goldwater by stating a qualified opinion anonymously online.

They think it's legitimate. They wrestled with the propriety of the entire undertaking, but ultimately concluded that there was a compelling, overriding duty that superceded Goldwater.

He's a narcissit with control issues, like most. He wants to be liked at all costs, but plays it off well. The simple fact he explodes the collective head of the liberal left is pretty funny and sad. Lucky for those fricks the job comes with term limits.
