Good. IMO the press corp should be much larger, and the room these press briefings occur should be double the size.

There is no reason National Inquirer can't have credentials when Buzzfeed and CNN have two.

They are as credible as any of the MSM. Which may not be much...but it's a solid face-slap from Trump. Boss! Exactly why we elected him.

This.

I dont listen to InfoWars, but what room does the MSM have to complain about other journalists?

I mean, Obama let in BuzzFeed, so why not? Lets give the Onion a press pass as well.

There's nothing "huge" about it.
Freedom of the press ensures that, daily, there are all varieties of nuts, bloggers, filmmakers, etc. in the briefings.

There’s the major media. And then there’s the ‘other’ White House press corps
quote:

But every day, on the fringes of the 49-seat White House briefing room, another class of reporters shares elbow room — and equal access — with the big guns of journalism.

On any given day, Gavin’s colleagues in this group may include a retired college professor, a courtly Indian gentleman whose newspaper doesn’t actually exist at the moment, a 71-year-old freelancer, an Uber driver, a woman in an ever-present down vest who files reports on Twitter and Facebook, and a man who likes to tweet out photos of himself posing in the briefing room. One day in January, there was also a woman who slowly leafed through a book of poetry.

quote:

People such as Gavin, who says that all he needs to do to get a day pass into the briefings is submit his date of birth and Social Security number and say that he makes videos for YouTube. (Access to the executive mansion is via either a coveted “hard pass” — a renewable two-year permit — or a day pass, which must be applied for each time you want in.)

“There’s a part of me that’s surprised that I’m let in,” says Gavin.

Why do people need to see it on CNN, NYT, etc. to believe it's the truth? We cannot just let MSM define what is right. Read it for yourself and then decide.

So, how many of you outraged about this were also outraged about Buzzfeed being given a press pass?

Just want to see who's honest in here, and who's a partisan hack.

Alex Jones thinks Sandy Hook was a hoax, the moon landings were fake, and the US government was behind 9/11...and his organization now has WH press credentials.
