The more things change. . . .

quote:

The aide said at one point as House Speaker John Boehner was making an argument on immigration, Obama responded that his patience was running out and Vice President Joe Biden interrupted to ask how long Republicans needed. Obama angrily cut Biden off, the aide said.
quote:

the president said his patience was running out. He underscored his intent to act on his own by the end of the year if they don't approve legislation to ease deportations before then and send it to him to sign.

quote:

Obama laid out three areas where he and Congress could work together before the end of the year — emergency funding to combat the Ebola outbreak, approval of a federal budget and quick action on spending to fight the Islamic State militant group.
quote:

Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, about to lose his grip on the upper chamber, barely said a word, the aide said.

This doesn't surprise me. I had seen some still photos of the meeting, and those were some extremely pissed off people.

Obama is going to issue the EO. As usual, he was a pussy to put it off until after the election. If he really believes it's a good thing, he should've had the balls to have already done it.

So, go ahead and do it, Obama. Then, we'll see if the GOP has any balls. My guess is they haven't bothered to grow a pair, either.

He is now powerless and in a corner all by himself. If he goes any more crazy with the EO's it will be his unseating.

He does know the GOP can't do shite within his timeline, correct.. Dems hold the Senate until the end of the year.

This is one of the very few things that will cost Dems votes in the black community.

Thanks, Tiguar. That's exactly my point. While I believe granting amnesty to ILLEGAL immigrants is insane, if Obama believes in doing it, even for sinister reasons, then why doesn't this MOUSE ever stand on his convictions and show some courage? Obama is the biggest coward to come along in many, many years.

He's doing the same thing with 2015 Obamacare pricing and the employer mandate.

I know the liberals and Obama apologists never actually give direct responses, but I'll throw this out anyway. If amnesty, Obamacare, etc are such wonderful things for the American people, why is Obama scared to death to implement the programs he claims are so great?

I think we all know the answer to that.

Pas - cwill, I know you claim not to be a fan of Obama, but strangely enough you always jump in to defend him. ALWAYS. It'skind of hard to square the two, you know?

I'm just saying

Well since they control the House they control the purse strings. They could also vote to impeach (which would be incredibly stupid IMO), but basically they can't do a whole lot. However, with the media turning on Obama (about time) they probably will be able to get their side out more.

Just like Obamacare.

It's almost as if he owes somebody and his very life depends on getting them paid off. It reeks of desperation.

For starters, if the SOB would do his job, the one the POS is sworn to do, and apprehend illegals at the border, or send them back once they are picked up, he wouldn't have a crisis on his hands

Secondly this pretense that he has to act because the polls say America wants to see a resolution to the illegal alien crisis is nonsensical. The polls also say the American people hate Obamacare, so why doesn't the narcissistic POS sign an Executive Order outlawing the ACA / Obamacare?

The SOB don't give one damn care about what the American people want, and that is what you get when you elect a narcissistic, community organizer from Kenya as president.

If the big eared SOB did his job there would be no crisis.

If this Kenyan POS wants to act unilaterally on destroying our country he should be hauled out on a rail and deported to the African craphole he was born in.

Yeah, I think Obama and McConnell had hissy fits and started slapping each other.

Boehner started crying, Pelosi looked surprised and Reid was confused and asked where the blackjack tables were.
