In terms of the oil field, someone convince me.

during trumps term, it was the worst downturn in the oilfield's history. a ton of companies filed bankruptcy and some no longer exist because of it.

today....we are busier than we've ever been.

That boom will only last for so long. Once the dollar has no value, we are all screwed. I guess enjoy your money now, because there won’t be a country later. Your kids and grandkids are screwed, but enjoy the boom now.

You have to make the decision based on more than your specific situation. Democrats historically are good for commodities

Politicians are generally given too much credit and too much blame for the cyclical nature of the oilfield.

Vote for who you want to, but don’t tie it solely on the state of the oilfield.

If you don't see the dichotomy that exists between Trump and all the others by now, I don't know what to tell you.

Seriously?

Gas prices back then allowed for more travel, increased shopping, leisure activities, etc. People now are just trying to keep up with the inflationary prices in their basics

Yet, pre-covid we were a net exporter of oil. Those oil fields must have been producing something then.

President Trump was inaugurated in Jan of 2017. Think the changes that caused the layoffs might have occurred prior to 2016?

He didn't take office until January 20, 2017. If you are gonna blame a presidentfor that time period, then it seems like Obama would be at fault.

Have you not noticed regime is trying to eliminate oil???

Have you missed that?

Prices are going up because it’s becoming more scarce

Once it’s gone you’re screwed in oil patch

But some can’t see their own future, only their present

Which one are you?

The funny thing is he saved the oil industry during Covid. Some of the most impressive foreign policy we’ve seen, getting other countries to drastically cut their supply and saved countless oil companies of all sizes
