There are no more "Liberals".
The political evolution of the USA has evolved beyond that obsolete designation.
The "old" conservatives are the "new" liberals. The "old" Liberals have gone hard Left and are now mostly totalitarian police state Globalist Leftists.

We are moving beyond a society built around conservative and liberal to one based on good vs evil. Many liberals and conservatives will wake up and realize we all have one common enemy and that is the global elite who are conspiring to enslave the white middle class. It's really that simple. That contempt you witnessed for the veteran is but one manifestation of their hatred for middle America and people perceived to have mainstream values.

The hate is beyond normal. It is called demoralization soviet style. They captured the democrats and most republicans just as sure as they are all beholden to China. I am glad that you can cut through it.

Eh, I think "most" is highly inaccurate.
Trump supporters will get heated and make ignorant arguments or statements.
Most (and yes I'm using most NOW) liberals I speak with (online or in person), are HIGHLY intolerant of any conservative opinion I have. They are very combative and defensive. I've found it very difficult to have a civil discussion with them.
Hell, even on the dating scene. I'm willing to go out on a couple dates with a liberal woman. When they find out I lean conservative on some issues, I get nasty messages or ghosted.
As ignorant as Trump supporters and some conservatives can be, liberals are far more intolerant in my personal experience.

There is an enormous difference between a liberal and a progressive. A liberal is a well intentioned reasoned person while a progressive is an angry radical that is beyond reason.

Well said. My only caveat is the we "gave" Obozo 8 YEARS. Still nothing worth a bucket of turds. Set this country and race relations back decades. Trump has already made changes in the right direction that will last decades.

When I was a Democrat I would have voted for Trump because his policies on trade and securing the border would have been endorsed by the union I was part of in the late 70’s through mid 80’s......my how things have changed, R’s are now the party of the blue collar workers.
