Maybe bc deep down they know voting for a misogynist douche reality tv star is fricking ludicrous but their hatred for the left is forcing their hand and they're ashamed.

I dont like the way that people dont engage in discourse first but the shock of finding out that someone you know is voting for that man is eye opening in a bad way. We feel like it is legitimate and even worse than having Bush in office. Bc electing a shitty businessman and actor, who has never held any office, is dumb. It is. Sorry. People are upset for good reason.

Where is KneelandBlow? Seems like it's been awhile.

Not a "progressive" liberal. Or a SJW. But I side with most liberal issues. I do support the 2nd Amendment and have a few guns myself

I believe Prager U has a video showing that liberals and libertarians are very similar as compared to socialists/progressives.

The question is, what do you believe that makes you liberal?

Some people will label themselves without really knowing what the ideology/philosophy really means.

Way to mend fences. Your assumption of shame does not fit anyone I know. The fear of reprisal is true in most I have spoken with. go watch some antifa rallies and get back to me.

The liberal community is at fault for trumps election

Spineless Neocons are at fault. There should be zero doubt that there is really only 1 party and that’s the power party. For example, Obamacare was just a national version of the healthcare Romney implemented as governor of Massachusetts. I’m a registered independent that leans left on a lot of social issues but heavy right on economic issues. Also the constitution is very important to me. It is under attack mainly by leftist politicians right now, and we cannot let them fundamentally change the foundation of this country.

A friend of mine who served many years in the Army just got cursed in a Dunkin Donuts in Mass. by asking if they had a Veteran's special today. He was called a racist, bigoted Trump supporter.

Then some a-hole of Facebook that he doesn't even know cursed him again, because he voted for Trump.

Nah, not in 2016, not ever. Bernie is total loser politician and has the worst ideas anyone has ever had as a member of congress. Our country would be beyond ruined if Bernie was ever elected and allowed to dictate policies.

It’s ok to be a liberal progressive and not be a democrat. In fact, you will see progress come naturally under a 2nd term for President Donald Trump. More individual freedom and better economic prosperity. This is progress we can all support.

Liberal here and sometimes I find myself shaking my head at other liberals just as often as conservatives. In some ways Democrats and Republicans have switched in terms of being puritanical moral authorities.

I remember when reddit was a ton of random "WTF?" content. Now it's mostly outrage and virtue. I get that their heart is in the right place and that they are trying to correct a lot of the wrongs in the world, but it also leads to form of McCarthyism that isn't very compatible with intellectual marketplaces.

No it is not. They use fake outrage to bludgeon their political opponents into submission.

kind of like switching #metoo on and off

Actually, they really do. They might not reflect the opinions of all Democrats, but sadly that party has allowed themselves to be hijacked by left-wing loons.

good for you really. but I don't think it is fair to compare to Obama. I despise Obama. I would never wish death and illness for our country just so Obama would look bad. I would never ever scream to the sky.

94th upvote for my baw. And I am a conservative who does not like Trump in the least bit. But he is the best alternative that we have right now. And I am good with that.

It’s really sad that not only does trump control the military but he controls the hearts and minds of ex military to where by his words and actions he can literally command them to kill people of color at any moment like we saw with poor armed robbery

You're just now noticing that??

It was apparent to me about 20 years ago that they must have escaped a loony bin somewhere.
